How much does the PDI inspection cost?
The PDI inspection fee is ₹5,000 (+ applicable GST). This fee is fully waived if you book any detailing service from Detailing Bull — PPF, Ceramic Coating, Graphene Coating, Interior Detailing, Exterior Detailing, or any other package. If you choose to detail elsewhere, the standard fee applies.
What exactly does your PDI cover?
Our PDI is a focused cosmetic inspection only. We check Dent & Paint condition, Body Fitment Issues, Body Panel Gaps, Accident / Old Car Condition Assessment, and Interior Condition. We do not perform mechanical, engine, electrical, or software diagnostics.
Where does the inspection take place?
Our expert visits the dealership stockyard or showroom where your allocated vehicle is parked. Alternatively, you or the dealer can bring the vehicle to the nearest Detailing Bull studio before registration.
Why do I need a PDI on a brand new car?
New cars often suffer cosmetic damage during transit — dents, scratches, repainted panels, or poor body fitment. A PDI lets you catch these defects before registration while you still have the power to reject the vehicle or demand fixes from the dealer.
How long does a PDI take?
A complete cosmetic PDI takes approximately 45–60 minutes. You receive a photo/video report and immediate expert recommendation on whether to accept, demand fixes, or request a replacement vehicle.
Will the dealer allow an outside inspector at their stockyard?
Yes. As a buyer paying full price, inspecting your car before registration is your right. Reputable dealerships always allow buyers and their technical representatives to inspect the allocated vehicle prior to delivery.
