Gloss PPF for your new car

Clear gloss PPF is the choice for most new cars. It keeps the factory shine and colour exactly as they are and sits on the paint almost unseen. It takes stone chips, grit and light scratches, and many films self-heal fine marks with heat.

Keeps the original gloss and colour of the paint
    Front-end, front-end plus extras or full-car cover
Available from all eight brands we fit
Fitted by hand after the paint is inspected and corrected
Helps resale, because the factory paint stays untouched

Film thickness, clarity and warranty differ between brands and lines. At the demo you can compare them side by side.

    Matte PPF

Matte, or satin, PPF turns a glossy car into a flat-finish car without a respray, and protects the paint underneath at the same time. It can be taken off later to go back to gloss.

A soft matte look on gloss paint, with chip protection
Also used to protect paint that is already matte, where polishing is not an option
Ask us which brands and lines offer a matte finish
Needs gentle washing, with no polishing and no wax
Fitted and finished with the same care as gloss film

Matte surfaces cannot be polished to remove marks, so careful washing matters more. We give you a care guide at handover.

    Colour PPF

Colour PPF changes the colour of the car and protects it in one job. You get the look of a wrap with the impact protection of film, and the original paint stays underneath.

Gloss, satin and matte colour options, depending on the film
Protects against stone chips like clear PPF
Can be removed later to go back to the original colour
Costs more than a vinyl wrap, because the film is thicker and harder to fit
Colour range depends on the brand, so ask to see swatches

Colours look different on a screen and in daylight, so we show you real samples against your car.

    Windshield film

The windshield is the largest piece of glass on the car and lets in the most heat and glare. A film made for the windshield reduces heat, UV and glare while keeping the view clear, including at night and in rain.

Reduces heat and UV coming through the front glass
Cuts glare on long daytime drives
Stays clear enough for night driving and rain
Only films made for the windshield are used, never a dark film on the front glass
Cut and fitted to the exact shape of your windshield

Confirm the current legal light-transmission limit with your local traffic authority. We recommend only films inside the limit.

    Window tints

Window tints go on the side and rear glass. They reduce heat and glare, block most UV, add privacy and help hold the glass together if it breaks. A darker film is not always better, because a good lighter film can reject more heat than a cheap dark one.

    Heat-rejecting and privacy options
Films inside the legal light-transmission limit
Cut to the exact shape of each window
UV protection for the dashboard and seats
Sample squares you can hold against your own window

Rules on tint darkness can change. Confirm the current limit with your local traffic authority.

    guide

Six questions to settle before you buy PPF

    01

    Which finish do you want?

Decide first whether you want to keep the gloss, go matte or change colour. This narrows the choice of films quickly.

    02

    How much of the car?

Front-end cover protects where stones hit most. Full-car cover protects every panel. A higher cover costs more.

    03

    Where do you drive?

Highway and expressway driving needs the front of the car covered. City driving brings door dings and scrapes, so edges matter.

    04

How long will you keep it?

If you will keep the car for years or sell it later, a longer warranty and full cover can be worth the cost.

    05

    What does the warranty cover?

Ask what the maker covers, such as yellowing, cracking and peeling, for how long, and who honours it. Get it in writing.

    06

    What is your budget?

Tell us at the demo. We show you what fits, and tell you where a cheaper choice will not give you what you want.

    Most asked questions about PPF

PPF stands for paint protection film. It is a clear, flexible polyurethane film fitted over the paint. It takes the damage from stone chips, grit and light scratches so the paint underneath stays as it left the factory.
Yes. The demo is free. You see film samples against your own car and ask questions, and you get a written quote if you want one. Ask us about the booking details when you call.
There is no single best film for every car. Thickness, clarity, finish, self-healing and warranty differ between brands and between lines from the same brand. We fit Llumar, Garware, XPEL, STEK, Gaamp, Nord PPF, Avery Dennison and Bull Armour, and the demo lets you compare them side by side.
A new car is the best time, because the paint is at its best and nothing needs hiding. New cars can still carry marks from the dealer yard or transport, so we inspect the paint first and correct it where needed before the film goes on.
Gloss PPF is clear and keeps the factory shine. Matte PPF gives the car a flat, satin look. Colour PPF changes the colour of the car. All three protect the paint underneath. Colour options and finishes depend on the brand and film line.
Colour PPF changes the colour and also protects against stone chips, because it is a thicker protective film. A vinyl wrap changes the look at a lower price but gives much less protection. Colour PPF costs more.
Yes. On healthy factory paint, film can be removed to bring the paint back to how it was. Paint that has been repainted or has peeling clear coat can lift, so we check the paint before we fit anything.
Rules on how much light a car's glass must let through are set by law and can change. Confirm the current limit with your local traffic authority. We recommend only films inside the limit, and we use films made for the windshield on the front glass.
Yes, if the coating is made for use on film. It makes the film easier to wash. Check with the installer that the coating suits your film before it goes on.
